New Release: Orange Blossom and Honey

Today, we release our popular summer scent, Orange Blossom and Honey. I was inspired by my love of orange blossom honey, which I can only get from Florida. I haven't had orange blossom honey in years, but it remains a happy memory, and the lovely, sweet scent has stayed with me. Of course, I had to have it when I saw my favorite little boutique scent company, Sweet Cakes, offering an orange blossom fragrance oil. Once the scent arrived, I blended it with a honey scent, and I was immediately swept off to an orange grove in Florida where the trees hang heavy with fruit, bees buzz in the blossoms, and the air is kissed with the intoxicating perfume of orange blossoms, citrus, and sunshine.

Orange Blossom and Honey soap and moisturizer are in my top five favorite scents we create. I love the warm, citrusy colors, the honeycomb pattern, and the detail of grated orange peel on top. I look forward to making this soap every year, and as with all my favorite scents, I contemplate bringing it on full-time. However, as one bib overall wearing wise man informed me, "It's only special because it is rare." Sigh. He's correct. I hate it when that happens. (Said with a smile and a wink)

So, we release this sweetly scented gem today, and I am thrilled to share it with you. Creating new scents, designing new soaps, and sharing them with my soap family make me smile and thrill me, like sharing a well-thought-out gift. Giving gifts and knowing I made someone happy, even if it's just for a brief moment, is one of my absolute favorite things in this world.
