We begin with our favorite original soap recipe to create our goat milk-laden products. These soaps are filled with skin-loving oils and scented with a lovely dark patchouli essential oil. Patchouli essential oil is believed to help those with skin issues such as eczema or psoriasis. It is also used for its anti-inflammatory properties and repels insects.
I must admit, I was not an instant fan of patchouli. However, over time, I have come to enjoy and appreciate its earthy, warm scent. I especially love how The Bibbed Wonder smells when he uses this soap. The blend of patchouli with his natural body chemistry is warm and comforting.
